Evaluating agroforestry patterns to increase land productivity of Falcataria moluccana private forests in Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara

Developing agroforestry systems in private forests is expected to increase productivity. This study aims determine the appropriate design for Falcataria moluccana-based Central Lombok Regency. Three intercrop species were tested: small taro (Colocasia esculenta), ginger (Zingiber officinale), and vanilla (Vanilla planifolia Andrews). was established using a completely randomized design. The three planting combinations examined replications total of nine test plots: F. moluccana+vanilla+small (FmVT), moluccana+vanilla+ginger (FmVG), moluccana+vanilla+ginger+small (FmVGT). Each plot 10 x m located at 3 spacing under 3-year-old moluccana stand. measured variables crop survival rates, plant yields, microclimatic data. correlation between Pearson Product Moment, Duncan's advanced multiple range (DMRT), analysis variance (ANOVA). market price used crop's economic value. best based on value production land equivalent ratio. results indicated that combination moluccana, vanilla, ginger, taro, which generated an additional income IDR 11,851,250 ha-1 year, should be widely promoted adopted.
